Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
Tony is coming in, having accepted Eli's offer, recovering from a bullet wound from getting shot by the Port to Port killer. He is just plain tired and needs a break, so he is looking for a fresh start. At first, he might not remember faces, but everything will come back to him and he will settle in quickly.
How do you plan to expand their CR?
Tony is a social butterfly. He genuinely likes everyone and will talk to everyone, expanding his CR won't be a problem at all.
What will your character do for work?
He is going to be a PI with Veronica Mars and Steve McGarrett
Inventory:
a portable DVD player, and his entire movie collection in a handy dandy holder, a laptop, a couple of suits, a pair of jeans, his Ohio state sweatshirt and the sweater Jackson Gibbs gave him, his NCIS baseball cap, his SIG, a team photo, his baby grand, his fish Kate.

Third-Person Sample:
Tony leaned back in the chair, his feet resting on the other chair. To the casual observer, he would look like he was sleeping, but to those who knew him best? They would know that he did his best work late at night, or when he was meditating. Tony didn’t call it sleeping, unlike Kate, who constantly mocked him. He couldn’t say that he blamed her though. He had made her life pretty difficult. He smiled a bit though because, at the time, he held great satisfaction at being able to get one over on Kate. It was really the light of his day.
Then McGee came along. The little McSmarty pants, Mcbrown-nose, McElflord. Oh, Tony spent some glorious hours trying to break him in. It hadn’t really been torture per say, definitely not worse than what Gibbs had done to him, and especially not worse than what was done to him at Rhode Island Military Academy. McGee took it like a champ though, and though Tony would never admit this, except in times of Deep duress, he was proud of his young Pad wan. Yes, he did talk a good game with young Timothy McGee, and perhaps he yanked his chain a bit too much, but Tim was all the better for it, so Tony counted that as a win.
Ziva, however, was a tougher nut to crack. He wasn’t sure he had trusted her completely when they first met, but he had enjoyed tormenting her with his play on words. He liked to think that he taught her something, but he had a feeling that she taught him so much more. He spent a long time burying things, feelings beneath the surface, and he liked it that way, but somehow she had managed to get him to feel things again, he didn’t know how, but he knew that not going after her was not an option he could fathom.
First-Person Sample:
Boss,
You know I never thought that I would be the one writing this letter. Kate, I didn't think that she'd last a month, but once she went toe to toe with you, I knew that she could handle the truth, so to speak. Yeah, yeah, speak English, but you know me, boss, movies are in my blood.
You gotta admit, I get the job done. In the beginning, I used to think that you just enjoyed using me as a whipping boy, but over the years I realized that you were using me as a teaching tool, that you trusted that I would get the point. Thanks, Boss for trusting me.
After getting shot, I just need a break, after everything that's happened over the years both on the job and off, I need some time to get my head back on straight. Eli checked out, nice guy, kinda reminded me of Sean Connery. Anyway, Stay safe and train McGee... my baby is ready to leave the nest.
Always,
Your Faithful, Loyal St. Bernard
